This visitor centre is a modern addition to the existing classical listed harbour master building on the Kent coastline. Providing exhibition and gallery space, it is a welcome addition to the site and since completion has helped revitalise arts and culture in the surrounding area. This building is the first part of the new Turner Master Plan for Margate.
